Last week the team here at Sci-Net Business Solutions came together for our first post-covid staff event. With over 45 team members (who usually talk to each other over video calls!) finally meeting in person, a few even having travelled as far afield as Portugal!
To start the first day off, ice breaker sessions and various team building exercises were held on the grounds of Middle Aston House. The team building helped everyone get to know each other and learn how to work more effectively as a team. The several breakout discussions throughout the day addressed valuable topics and how businesses can work more effectively.
After a busy day of team building, the Managing Director Duncan Fergusson and the rest of the management team welcomed staff to the company’s headquarters in nearby Duns Tew, where there was an evening of entertainment of live music, street food, dessert buffet and an opportunity to socialise outside of the working environment.
The following day back at Middle Aston House, the management team gave presentations to the whole company, detailing Sci-Net’s business strategy and roadmaps for the future and how important investing in staff is, from training and development to benefits and rewards.
After two days of planning, reconnecting, and team building, it was great to meet people face to face after so long and share in learning, laughter, and team-building – even the weather was kind to us.
