The Retail Technology Show 2025 at ExCeL London on April 2-3 certainly lived up to this year’s Carnival theme.
As one of the premier events for retail tech, it brought together the industry’s forward-thinking retailers and leading tech innovators, creating a unique atmosphere.

A Showcase of Cutting-Edge Solutions
The show’s highlight was the impressive range of solutions designed to help retailers stay competitive in today’s fast-paced landscape. The team here at Sci-Net, located at stand D30, proudly showcased our award-winning ERP>Retail solution, for the third consecutive year, where we demonstrated its ability to streamline operations, enhance customer experiences, and boost profitability to numerous visitors to the stand. We also used the ‘YUNO II’ POS equipment from our partners at AURES Technologies UK, whose equipment offers revolutionary POS hardware with versatile configurations to suit any environment.

Our long-standing partner, LS Retail, was also present at the show. Located just along the row from us on stand L30, they demonstrated how easily their software solutions can integrate with self-checkout and self-service kiosks.
Additionally, our partners at Cosmos Technologies visited our stand and took part in a video filmed by our PR company, who were there capturing our presence at the show. As Fiona Wise from Cosmos Technologies stated, ‘Sci-Net have been partners for a good 15 years, and they are experts in their field. I’m very excited to see where they are going.
Informative Sessions
The Retail Technology Show 2025 was not just about the exhibitors, it also featured informative sessions, including talks from body coach and social media expert Joe Wicks MBE and Theo Paphitis, the owner and chairman of Theo Paphitis Retail Group and Former Dragons’ Den investor. These sessions provided insights into the latest trends and challenges in the retail industry and gave attendees valuable ideas to help their businesses.
A Colourful Carnival Atmosphere
The Retail Tech Show fully embraced this year’s Carnival theme. The event was filled with vibrant colours, and the end of the first day was celebrated with the ‘Big Retail Party’, which featured performances by a Queen Tribute band along with merry-go-round carnival rides and retro fairground games, making the show both informative and enjoyable.
